one of my biggest fears, is that i will never really be known, that there is nobody out there who truly understands what i'm about.

the concept at first was going to be about claustrophobia, but once it was done, i figured the image is a more accurate reflection of how i see myself in the world.

i told my friends today about this idea, and all but one told me i was weird, i don't think it's about being weird or not, photography to me is my way of expressing myself, through unusual, different ways. i see the world differently, i don't think it's fair that i should be labelled weird for that.

yes this is me, and yes... i did paper mache my head. and yes, it was terrifying.

I actually think the fear of not being understood is not that far from claustrophobia - both are centered around isolation and being confined, alone, in a small space, be it a room or your own little world. What I mean is, I think your piece has captured both concepts perfectly. Great work!
